Dear VYC Members,
I hope you have had a wonderful summer, wherever it took you. Here at Vallarta Yacht Club, we welcomed new members and continued to enjoy the friendships and activities that make our club such a special place.
Your Board of Directors has been busy planning an exciting lineup of regattas, club races, and social activities for the 2026–2027 season. There is plenty to look forward to! Visit the VYC events calendar to see what’s planned, and watch for more updates as the season approaches.
We have also made significant improvements to the club website, including new hosting and an enhanced VYC Weather Center. I invite you to take a look and explore these useful resources.
The Board has agreed on a new dues structure for 2027, and you can find details about the membership categories on our membership information page. We have also updated our member referral reward program. When you refer a new Flag member, you will receive a credit equal to 50% of that member’s initiation fee, which you can use at Picante Grill or toward a VYC boat rental. It’s a great opportunity to introduce friends to the club and enjoy a little extra benefit yourself.
We are also offering an incentive to pay your dues early: pay your 2027 dues before December 1, 2026, and receive a $1,500 MXN credit at Picante Grill.
As we look ahead, I would like to renew our commitment to giving back to the community. We are seeking a volunteer to lead and revitalize our Community Outreach program, identifying worthwhile local charitable projects and bringing members together to support them. If you would enjoy helping us make a positive difference in our community, please contact me. I would love to talk with you.
Thank you for being part of VYC and for helping make it such a welcoming community. We look forward to seeing everyone back for the high season and sharing a busy, enjoyable season together.
Warm regards,
Linda Green
